Red construction paper
Brown and or black construction paper
Beige or brown card stock
Googly eyes
Scissors
Elmers glue
Wooden dowel or popsicle stick
Directions
1. Click here for a drawing to get templates for cutting the construction paper and card stock. Set the size of the drawing to fill an 8 X 11 inch page. Cut out the template shapes and note the number of pieces of each shape to cut.
2. Fold the card stock rectangle in half, perpendicular to the long edge.
3. Paste the two black eye patches on the dog's face. Paste the ears and the googly eyes. Paste the black mouth.
4. Paste the red tongue behind the face.
5. Paste the dowel or popsicle stick on the back flap, between the two flaps, to form the puppet's handle.
6. Ha!
